I started my first blog The Ultimate Corporate Entrepreneur in 2005 as an experiment. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about in the blogosphere.
Although at the time I really didn't have a strategy as to why I would blog, it didn't take but six months for me to learn the value of it as a marketing vehicle, community builder, and an extension of my business.
I like to tell people that it was the "smartest thing I ever did by accident."
In 2006 I added another blog Road to Innovation.TV (see a pattern here--two radio shows, two blogs) except this one would become my entry point into the world of video.
Now, I frequently incorporate video into my business particularly during training and strategy planning with enterprise customers. It lends an element of fun to the learning environment and never fails to amaze people about their ability to be innovative-on-demand.
