BIO

Dee McCrorey, Chief Risk Guru and Innovation Coach, of Risktaking for Success LLC, launched the venture in 2000 after a successful twenty-five year corporate career.

Her fascination with creativity, risktaking, and innovation piqued while serving in a variety of leadership, project management, portfolio management, and mentoring roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, American Airlines, USBancorp, and Rosenbluth International.

Dee developed her "connecting the dots" strategy while consulting with clients struggling to manage the intersection of people, product, process, and performance within dynamic business environments and evolving marketplace demands. She continues to explore practical ways for companies to balance fiscal responsibility and growth strategies with resource development - critical elements for driving and sustaining homegrown entrepreneurship, where home grown, today, has no borders.

Her practical experience with negotiating million-dollar deals for Fortune 500 companies helped Dee develop a formula for building confident, powerhouse teams capable of harnessing their personal strengths and natural styles for win-win outcomes.

Dee's professional affiliations include Silicon Valley's TiE.org where she has delivered negotiations workshops and mentorship to entrepreneurs and Women Unlimited Inc. LEAD program where she co-mentors high potential women tapped by their companies as emerging leaders.

Degrees in Journalism and International Relations and certifications in Sales Training, Project Management, Professional Coaching, Emotional Intelligence (EQ, and Facilitation round out her credentials. A five-year expatriate experience in Europe and the Middle East provides Dee with a rich understanding of multicultural settings and international business environments.

She is currently writing the Ultimate Guide for Corporate Entrepreneurs, and recently launched her newest blog - Road to Innovation - a video blog capturing the entrepreneurial stories and spirit of people living out their inspired action, and which complements The Ultimate Corporate Entrepreneur blog she's been writing for two years. Dee plans to officially launch her Internet radio show Coach for Innovation sponsored by BlogTalkRadio in partnership with Coach of the Airwaves in late October 2007. .
